Statements
A metal fitting which combines two corner pieces at the head and tail of a binding in a single piece, covering the entire edge, but preserving the shape of the corner pieces. Combined corners are sometimes found on Pennsylvania German bindings of the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
